Formed in Grafton in regional NSW and now based in Petrie in regional Queensland, but often on the road in their eco-inspired portable stage touring van, Salt and Steel are two songwriting and life companions, Briony Edgar and Elle Steel.
Queer & gender diverse lifestyles inspired by surf, skate, punk and swamp underpin their wild garage rock sounds and live performance, comparable to acts such as Royal Blood, The Black Keys and even PJ Harvey.
